Michelle Lee Nominated As Director Of Patent Office
On October 16, 2014, the White House announced the nomination of Michelle Lee, a patent attorney, as the director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Lee possesses a master’s degree in electrical engineering and computer science from MIT and received her JD from Stanford Law. Lee will be the first female to hold the highest position at the USPTO.
