Super Lawyers is a rating service that spotlights outstanding attorneys from more than 70 practice areas who have attained professional achievement. This distinction is only given to a small percentage of lawyers in each state annually. Those on the Super Lawyers list represent the top five percent of lawyers in their state. To be named a Rising Star, an attorney must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less, and they represent the top 2.5 percent of lawyers in their state that meet these criteria.
