Congratulations to Delaware on becoming the 18th State to decriminalize personal possession of cannabis!
Congrats to Delaware! The new law, signed by Gov. Jack Markell this week, will allow people to hold up to an ounce of cannabis flower without risking criminal prosecution under State law. Smoking marijuana in public may still result in a fine of up to $100 per violation, and is still illegal under Federal law. Delaware is one of 23 states nationally who allow access to medical marijuana.
