PCT International Phase, Post Allowance, And Recordal Of Assignment Fees Reduced

The United States Patent and Trademark office (USPTO) is reducing some of its fees. The USPTO is a fee driven department similar to the United States Post Office (USPS). What distinguishes the USPTO from the USPS is that the USPTO is in the black and has a budget surplus every year. The USPTO is reducing or eliminating fees in relation to PCT international phase, post allowance, and recordal of assignment. Changes will become affective on January 1, 2014.
