WA State Legislators Proposing Numerous Cannabis-related Bills in 2022

Despite the lack of progress for cannabis-related legislation at the federal level, it hasn’t stopped states and legislators from making progress in states across the country, often called “Cannabis 2.0.” Because Washington State was the first in the country to legalize cannabis, there was not a roadmap to follow, so there are still many changes, additions, and revisions that need to be made to state laws.

The following is a current list of active cannabis-related legislation for 2022. Legislators are continuing to evolve the laws to keep up with an ever-changing industry.
