Oregon Psilocybin Program Update: Last Week to Submit Public Comment

April 19, 2022 — Do you have ideas about how Oregon’s Psilocybin Services Section should regulate Oregon’s psilocybin products, testing, and training programs under the state’s forthcoming psilocybin program? Now is the time to tell the Oregon Psilocybin Services Section your thoughts. The Oregon Psilocybin Services Section is taking public comment on the updated draft rules until this Friday, April 22 at 5:00 p.m. PDT. During the public comment period, members of the public can submit their written comments to publichealth.rules@dhsoha.state.or.us.

Want to give your comments orally at the remaining public hearing discussing the draft psilocybin products, testing, and training rules? You can do so by signing up to comment at the April 21st public hearing here.

In addition to the proposed psilocybin products, training, and testing rules, the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking also includes statements of need, racial equity impact, and fiscal impact.

Want your voice heard, but not sure how to get your point across? Let us help! Gleam Law is happy to assist clients in drafting and submitting public comments that effectively communicate their concerns. Shoot me an email at lindsey@gleamlaw.com if you’d like to discuss this further.
