“All Your Base Are Belong To Us”
A previous blog entry stated that Elon Musk of Tesla Motors has “donated” Tesla’s patent portfolio to the public. Musk titled this blog “All Our Patent Are Belong to You”, an obscure reference turned internet-meme regarding a hilariously poor translation of a nintendo game called Zero Wing. The original quote is “All Your Base Are Belong To Us”.
Tesla Motors previously had a wall filled with plaques of the first page of each awarded patent. The wall of patents has been replaced by the internet meme, adjusted for context. You can see the original video game screen here.
