Natalie Nicol is a lawyer who works on a broad range of legal issues, including intellectual property, privacy, employment, corporate, transactional, regulatory, and tax matters. She has practiced in-house at high-growth companies, and also advises startups and mid-sized businesses through her own practice. She is passionate about intellectual property law, and especially likes helping creative entrepreneurs and artists protect their intellectual property and navigate other trademark and copyright issues.
Natalie earned her J.D. from UC Hastings College of the Law in 2013 with a concentration in Intellectual Property Law and her B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from Arizona State University in 2008. During law school, she worked on cutting-edge technology and civil liberties issues as an intern at the Berkman-Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, and the First Amendment Project. She was also a member of the Hastings Communication and Entertainment Law Journal and served as a research assistant to leading privacy and intellectual property law scholars.
Natalie spent nearly a decade in California before moving to Reno, Nevada. In her spare time, she enjoys travel, art, cooking, live music, and Pilates.
